TSV Hari began writing ever since he learnt to walk. A rare jibe from his father TVS Giri about Lord Tennyson writing an award-winning poem at the tender age of five was enough to spur him on. Since then he has written numerous plays, poems, short stories, novelettes and at present is working on a novel. His essays on Hinduism have appeared in www.giritrading.com and have been widely appreciated. Other Indian websites like www.ndtv.com have so far carried twenty of his short stories. There is a lot of material to sift from. The odd ghost written poem has to be edited, the Urdu Gazals and Nazms have to be translated or carried in their transliterated form. A chance development in one of the websites that carried short stories written by him suddenly yanked off the rich database of his work suddenly. Then, with the goading and encouragement of friends, he decided to start his own website, which will show up whenever anyone trawls for his name in the Internet.

TSV Hari is one of the founders of Giri Trading Agency Private Limited and has edited many books apart from writing plays, essays, short stories, poems and so on. He also contributes a lively column to The Harrington Post – weekly newspaper produced by his friend and colleague since 1980 – KM Thomas. In fact, it was Thomas who started a website for crime news. But later he gave it up. Now it is the turn of TSV Hari to have a website in his name – to showcase not only his writings but also the writings of a number of other authors who can write well. TSV Hari's short stories have been published by www.ndtv.com, the now defunct www.fuzzynet.co.uk, zine5.com, sify.com and his opinions and essays have been carried by several newspapers, periodicals and websites to keep track of. Happy reading, folks! Cheers!
